Payment Terms and Policy

1. General Information

  • This Payment Terms and Policy outlines the payment procedures for services provided by Modern Trendz Fotos  
  • By booking a photography session or purchasing digital/printed products from our website, you (hereinafter referred to as “the Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to abide by these terms.

2. Booking and Retainer Fees

  • A non-refundable retainer fee of [50]% is required to secure your booking and confirm the date and time of your photography session.
  • The retainer fee will be applied towards the total cost of your chosen photography package.
  • Bookings are not considered confirmed until the retainer fee is received.
  • In the event of cancellation by the client, the retainer fee will be forfeited.

3. Payment Schedule

  • The remaining balance of the total package price is due 2 days prior to the scheduled photography session.
  • For product orders (prints, albums, etc.), full payment is required at the time of order placement.
  • For event photography, or long term projects, payment schedules will be discussed and written into the contract.

4. Payment Methods

  • We accept the following payment methods:
    • List accepted payment methods, Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express),  Bank Transfers, Checks (if applicable).
  • Online payments are processed through Wave  Payments.
  • Checks must be made payable to Modern Trendz  Fotos .

5. Late Payments

  • Late payments may incur a late fee of [1]% of the outstanding balance per after 2 Days  of payment due date.
  • We reserve the right to withhold delivery of photos or products until full payment is received.
  • If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, we may cancel the booking or order.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Retainer fees are non-refundable.
  • If you need to reschedule your session, please provide at least 5 days’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the scheduled session may result in forfeiture of the full session fee.
  • Refunds for product orders are only available in the case of damaged or defective items. You must notify us within 10 days of receiving the product.
  • Digital product sales are final, and non-refundable.

7. Pricing and Taxes

  • All prices listed on our website are in Currency, CAD.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Applicable sales taxes will be added to the total cost.

8. Delivery of Digital and Printed Products

  • Digital photos will be delivered via Google Clouds delivery method,  online gallery, download link within 1 weeks of the photography session.
  • Printed products will be shipped within 3 weeks of order confirmation. Shipping times may vary depending on the product and shipping location.
  • Shipping costs will be added to the order total.
  • The client is responsible for providing the correct shipping address.

9. Copyright and Usage

  • The Photographer retains copyright ownership of all images.
  • Upon full payment, the Client will receive a personal usage license for digital images, allowing for personal printing and sharing.
  • Commercial use of images requires a separate agreement and additional fees.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these payment terms will be resolved through Wave payment.
